In the midst of the different streams of our time we are faced with the big question: What does it mean to be a true disciple of Jesus? How is the life of a disciple, who has given himself completely to God? How can we distinguish between a true and false follower of Jesus? Discipleship is much more than passing an exam on a given lesson. It's about how to align our lifestyle to Jesus and be an example to others. In 1 Corinthians 11:1 Paul says: "Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ". Discipleship is the process in which a mature disciple of Christ sees the potential in a less experienced person and starts a close training relationship. The disciple maker becomes a model in knowledge, wisdom, commitment, experience, values, skills and resources in order to help the believer to know God better and fully obey Him. The Bible says that by the fruit you tell if the tree is good or bad and therefore we want to seek God and grow in a healthy way in Him. Go and make disciples - this is the mission of Jesus for us (Mk 16:15). This mandate is not limited to conversion, but is telling us to became followers of Jesus. True, healthy discipleship is the basis, the starting point of any healthy community. If the DNA of a disciple is founded on the Bible, then the church made of strong disciples will be healthy. Without discipleship we prevent the growth of newborn spiritual babies. In this trainings we will also cover the following topics: DNA of a disciple; growth phases of a disciple from 1 John 2; comparison of natural / spiritual growth; what we can learn from the ministry of Jesus; discipleship in practice; how to transform believers in disciple-makers; and how to change a small group into a disciple making centre.
House church planting:
The church is the body of Christ and a family in which every member can grow and mature. The New Testament church was known as the people of God. The believers did not go to church nor did they join a community; they were the church. All members acted as priests and each one exercised their ministry. These people received practical training and learned how to make disciples. The followers of Christ practiced their faith in spiritual families, met in their homes and changed the world radically. The house churches grew in number by obeying the Word of God, sharing life and practicing spiritual gifts. They multiplied more and more groups of believers who met in the homes (Acts. 2:46) and worked together in their regions. These were the original house churches networks! Even today, new unique forms of communities are coming up as fresh shoots of new crops in cities and in rural areas. The life in small community and deep relationships is giving people practical firsthand experience on the values of God's kingdom. Followers of Jesus meet in small groups, in homes, offices, sports clubs or restaurants. Church will naturally became a lifestyle in which men, women and children experience discipleship and growth. In this training we cover the following topics: Why house church? The house church in the New Testament; What is a community? Church membership; Regional church planting; what do you do in a house church?; and How to start a house church.
Rebirth! Relationship with God by being born again:
"Rebirth" is today a very common word and is used by various religious to describe a spiritual experience. The term "born again" is though already more than 2000 years old. In a dark night in the old city of Jerusalem Jesus turned to one of the most famous intellectuals of his time, saying: "“Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again“ (John 3:3). With these words Jesus spoke of the need and also the possibility of a rebirth - a spiritual reset. Since then, millions of people through the centuries, have experienced the reality and power of God that came in their lives through the steps of the new birth. In this training, we cover the following topics: Rebirth - how does that work? How can a life of a person be completely transformed? The four steps of the rebirth.
The restoration of our personality:
The future, or a new start, begins with a clean and restored past. Too many people are paralyzed and weak from mental injuries and therefore remain often years standing in their personal development. The life of a wounded person revolves around his own needs and is therefore unproductive and self oriented. Many come from broken families and already have damaged relationships in their past. Others were involved in occult or religious ties or are blinded by an unclean and chaotic lifestyle (wrong sexual behavior or financial debt). These problems have isolated us from the others and we have become prisoners of our hurts and bondages. Is there a way out of this issue? Can we really change radically and permanently our lives? Through personal discipleship, forgiveness, healing and deliverance God opens for us a new path into the future. God is leading us step by step through his grace from the prison of our hearts into the true freedom of a healed life. In this training we cover the following topics: a look at various aspects of our lives that needs recovering; healing of emotional wounds; freedom from family ties; deliverance from generational curses; restoration of our personality; how to build a strong relationship with Jesus; how to live in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The apostolic ministry:
Are there still apostles today? What is their job? Which authority do they have? How do we recognize false apostles? How does the apostolic Church of the future look like? The apostolic ministry has nothing to do with man's glory and titles, but with God's vision for his church to passionate bring his kingdom from heaven to earth. The apostolic ministry is a pioneer front line service able to establish regional movements of God. People and groups who are called by the Lord in this service, will plant new churches and give birth to new projects. This ministry is meant to function behind borders and it is self initiative. Apostolic ministry helps churches to move in freedom and early stand on its own feet. It is a service that lays foundation and creates new projects "out of nowhere". It has the capacity to connect people who can benefit from each other gifts. The apostle can act as well as a supernaturally gifted problem solver and as a spiritual talent scout. Apostolic people always refer to Christ has their head (Eph. 1:22 & 4:15) and work regularly within the five-fold ministry. They often have a significant calling and grace for a specific region, city, nation or ethnic group. You can recognise them easily for their almost unbearable spiritual passion for the place God has sent them to work (Gal. 2:7-9). They are naturally "pillars of faith“ and the spiritual backbone of regional networks, on which churches and groups sometimes referred to as a father-figure. Apostles have a kingdom of God perspective and a "broken and contrite spirit" because of the spiritual burdens that they carry and are not interested in building a private, religious kingdom with themselves at the top.
Church planting and multiplication:
Jesus is building His Church in all the world (Mt. 16:18). What can we learn in this phase of Church history? How can self multiply church planting movements arise and function as an organism? In strong communities people are reached with the Gospel. Church planting is building relationship. It's not just about how to feel good in a certain meeting or to be well integrated in a group, but rather to grow, and to live out the mandate of God in the nations. For this task every church is needed, but also new form of communities for different cultures should be planted. God placed the seeds of multiplication in everything that has life and wants it also to work in his church. The goal is that everyone in the world should have the opportunity to decide for or against God. All people of the world will need to hear the message of God and to experience it practically, it takes anywhere churches that shine like a lighthouse.
Starting and leading a small group ministry:
"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." (1 John 1: 3). The small group is the heart of a community. This is the place where we celebrate Jesus together, we seek God, eat, laugh, share our life and talk about our faith. In the small groups, we learn to live together with Jesus and for each other. We read the Bible, we ask important questions, encourage one another and then pray for one another. In these teams, we build friendships that we carry through life and people who do not know God can be involved as well. Jesus had a small group. He was preaching his messages to large crowds, but most of his time was spent with a community of twelve friends. In this limited circle of disciples, he taught and showed for three years, what it means to practically follow God. This training includes biblical foundations, visionary inspiration and practical ideas and support to small group leadership.
Our new identity in Christ:
Everyone certainly needs an identity. Identity gives me value, safety and dignity. Identity "makes me be the person that I am.” However, a follower of Jesus does not find his identity in a job, gender, race and nationality (Gal. 3:28). In Jesus Christ, we receive the true life. He is the son of man and the son of God. In spite of all temptation and rejection of people, He lived a powerful relationship with the Heavenly Father. In him, God gives us our real primary identity: "we are created in the image of God" - "I am a beloved child of God" (Gal 2:20.). To understand who we are is one of the biggest questions of life. The right answer cannot be found in ourselves, but we need a deep revelation in our heart. This training will give you insights to difficult problems of our soul and show you ways for lasting personal change. We cover the following topics: the basics facts about our identity; lies that we believe about ourselves; how does God sees me; freedom from false thought patterns.
Inner healing and deliverance:
The Bible tells us in John 8:36: "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” Being delivered from dark shadows means being able to grow faster, be mature and healthier in your own calling and ready to serve others selflessly. Many Christians are not healed from their emotional hurts even after many years of pastoral care. When the problems of a person have demonic roots seem impossible to experience a real breakthrough. The doctors recognize that our physical health and our general well-being is highly dependent form the condition of our emotions, our thinking and our relationships. Jesus, who was also fully human and therefore can understand us completely, shows in his ministry that inner healing is an important part of the process of transformation in people. His mercy for the needy help us to see that true healing was not only health for our bodies, but also significant changes for our souls problems. In this training, we will talk about deep healing and how we can experience restoration in our personal brokenness by the power of the cross and trough the Holy Spirit. We will cover the following topics: definition of inner healing; change of the inner man; a look at the various areas of our lives where we may need healing; a look at the roots of inner brokenness and characteristics of our bondages; abuse and emotional wounds; vows and dedications; God's solution for healing from Isaiah 53 and 61 and how we can apply to our lives. This training is suitable for all those who desire to better understand the whole issue of inner healing and deliverance and want to experience personal breakthroughs, and also for those who wants to learn to help other people in their relationship groups.
The prophetic ministry:
The objective of this training is to discover and practice the prophetic gift and how to develop a lifestyle of dependence upon God. Prophecy is a thought of God uttered by the mouth of a man whom no one can produce from natural abilities. The source of all prophecy exceeds anything that can come from human thinking. "Have faith in the Lord your God and you will be upheld; have faith in his prophets and you will be successful" (2 Chron. 20:20). One of the ways God communicates with us and speaks to us is definitely through the gift of prophecy. We believe that everyone can prophesy and we believe in training people to hear the voice of God will help them to experience Him in a greater way. We will cover the following topics: What is prophecy?; Types of prophetic ministry; Hear God's voice; How to enter into personal intimacy with God and experience his presence in our life; Touching the Father's heart of God; How to interpret dreams; How to search and find God; How God change our heart; Purification and sanctification; The foundations of prophetic ministry; The partnership of apostolic and prophetic ministry; Prophetic ministry in discipleship and church planting.
Spiritual fathers and mothers:
“Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel” (1 Cor. 4:15). “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19). Today’s social networking helps people to connect and gives the possibility to have more friends than ever. But virtual relationships alone can’t meet the Church’s desperate need for spiritually mature women and men to lead younger believers to be faithful disciples of Christ. If you are like many believers, you may not feel prepared to be a trusted leader because you haven’t had a spiritual mother or father yourself. The cry for spiritual mothers and fathers is one the main challenges for the Church in the coming years. Therefore we need to discover why spiritual mother- and fatherhood is every believer’s calling, and find out how to nurture a spiritual family that expands the kingdom of God. In this training, we will work on following themes: Do we really need spiritual parents today?; The different stages of spiritual growth; How can we grow spiritually? Growing in the Father’s love; How does the work of spiritual parents looks like in the daily life?; Daring to take responsibility and making good decisions; Dealing with the orphan spirit; Different kind of fathers and mothers.
