Discovery Bible Study

It is not about teaching about the Bible, but the Bible itself. You learn not or not only what others say about the Bible, but above all what the Bible itself says. To interpret the Bible correctly, we use the inductive study method. We see ourselves as listeners to the Bible and try to let the text speak for itself. To do this, we do not first study individual verses or passages, but try to understand each book in its context.
The three steps that constantly accompany us are:
  • Observation - what does the text really say; what does it say
  • Interpretation - what did the text mean at that time (for the first readers)
  • Application - what does the text mean for me or for us today?
